Glen Garioch Founders Reserve

Lots of caramel, butterscotch, buttery, very sweet with white chocolate poking through. There was an underlying peppery, nutmeg spicy feel as well. Overall very welcoming with lots of potential. Palate: Very mouth coating and with some dryness. Plenty of barley, cereal notes. Finish: Grain continues, distant peat, quite warming but not overly long. Comments: Quite an easy going style, but the intensity, texture and strength holds the whisky together.
